Vision of the night nominated me for the Liebster Award – apologies for taking a while to respond to this, and thanks for nominating me! A very honest and raw account of experiencing mental health conditions, definitely worth a read.
So here are the rules:
- Create a new post thanking the person who nominated you.
- Provide a link to their blog.
- Include the award graphic.
- Answer the questions provided.
- Nominate 10 recently followed bloggers and share your post with them, so they can see it.
- Make a new set of 10 questions for your nominees to answer.
Here are my answers to Vision of the night’s questions!!
What changes would you like to see in the world within the next ten years?
I’d like to see people practicing self-love a lot more, and I’d like to see more people on a yoga mat! Of course we’d all love a peaceful world but there will always be wrongdoing whatever happens, so witnessing people being kinder and more compassionate towards themselves and others would be nice.
Do you own any pets? If so, what kind?
Unfortunately not – I’m a student so couldn’t anyway, I’d be very neglectful, not out of choice! I would love to get a dog one day, though. Although I don’t know whether it would be too much for me, and I would have an allergic reaction to the fur (Damn).
What is your least liked thing about blogging?
I sometimes feel that I want to be noticed and acknowledged more than I am, and it’s hard to be noticed if I don’t have a strong social media or social (generally) presence. But then I have to reconnect with why I blog, and that’s because it aids me in some way and is like a therapy and that’s what I have to remember when I get frustrated.
How in touch are you with your surroundings?
Oo..good question. I’m an observant person so I’d like to think so, and I’m trying to be more mindful on and off the yoga mat but it’s not perfect. I like to avoid my surroundings to an extent when in public – I avoid eye contact and social communication generally and so the barrier I put off can affect me being “in touch with” my surroundings. Maybe.
What is your favourite social media site?
I hate social media. It creates a superficial world, a world where people don’t truly connect or have rich and meaningful conversation. It’s based around feeding people’s need for attention, gossip and bullying in some cases. I’ve stuck to relevant or positive online forums and one would be the FWFG Kula community as part of Yoga with Adrienne’s True challenge.
Do you wake up early or like to sleep late?
I tend to wake up early and sleep late. But it does vary.
Where would you most like to visit and why?
Heaven, if it existed.
If you could have a drink (can be water) with anyone alive or dead, who would you choose?
What is your favourite book?
Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman.
If you could be any animal what would you be?
A pigeon, so I could poo on the people I dislike.
Just kidding (maybe). Or something like a cheetah. Cause they’re hot.

- Do you believe in God, and why?
- Do you think it’s better to be single or in a relationship?

- Favourite lyric that comes to mind?
- Would you rather give up love or sex?
